In an age where fast becomes faster and big gets bigger Samsung has come out with the latest offering, the Galaxy Note 2. It is packed with features which diminish the lines between phones and tablets. Here’s a look at some of the features of this gadget.

The new Galaxy Note 2 comes with a massive 5.5 inch screen. It is an obnoxious upgrade to their previous 5.3 inches on the Galaxy Note. While many are of the opinion that it is too big for comfort it is sure to please those looking to watch movies and browse the internet. The S pen stylus has many customers raving about it already. This beast of a phone is locked and loaded to bring the competition to the PC world; and how! Powered by 1.6 GHz quad core processor and 2GB RAM surfing the net on the Note 2 is a joyride. The latest Android Jelly bean operating system and hordes of fun and interactive built in software apart from Google Now makes interface transitions much smoother and fun. The usage of the brilliant AMOLED screen with 16M colors by Samsung makes for bright colors and a high contrast ratio which makes viewing pictures or videos with an aspect ratio of 16:9 a worthwhile experience. The phone weighs in at about 183 g and its dimensions are 151.1×80.5×9.4 mm. it’s slightly slimmer that it’s previous avatar but nothing that you will notice with your naked eyes.

While the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 may be a little too big for phones it has taken the step forward in diminishing the lines between tablets and phones. So if you are the sorts who find carrying around your laptops or 7 inch tablets too cumbersome then this might just be the right accessory for you.
